Status Report Regarding Implementation of Business Clean Air Partnership


This transmits the report of the status of implementing the 12-Point "Business Clean Air Partnership."

Point 2 - Eliminating Permitting Requirements for Most Small Equipment - this October Governing Board agenda contains the item relating to this Point, requesting that the Board award a bid for program development to simplify

and streamline permitting requirements through the certification/registration process. This October Governing Board agenda further contains an item permitting certain types of portable equipment to be registered for a reduced fee, allowing this registered equipment to be operated in the South Coast

Basin or in any other participating air district.

Point 3 - Eliminate Emissions Debt - this October Governing Board agenda contains

a recommendation to implement this item as part of proposed amendments to Regulation XIII - New Source Review (set for hearing in November 1995).

Point 4 -Establish a "HELP Manufacturers" Program - this October Governing Board agenda contains a recommendation to implement this item as part of proposed amendments to Regulation XIII - New Source Review (set for hearing in November 1995).
