Management District Board
The Administrative Committee met on September 22, 1995, for its monthly review
of the upcoming Board agenda. In addition to a review of the agenda, the Committee specifically approved staff recommendations for the agenda items specified in Attach-ment "A." The Committee discussed the status of formation of the District's Home Rule Working Group. Board Member Hewitt suggested that the Board form an ad hoc committee to consider senior management position vacancies. The Administrative Committee reported that it had discussed that issue at the August Administrative Committee meeting but, since Mr. Hewitt was not at the August meeting, the Committee agreed to again place a discussion item on the October Administrative Committee agenda. The Committee also received an investments report from a representative of the Los Angeles County Treasurer, a report on a plan to improve the District's telephone communication with the public, and a report on agenda format changes.
Attachment "B" is the Chairman's report on Board Member travel authorized during the period August 18 to September 22, 1995.
The next Administrative Committee meeting is Friday, October 27, 1995, at 9:30 a.m.
