Report of Fiscal Year 1994-95 Budget Transfers


State law enacted in 1994 -- Health and Safety Code Section 40721 -- provides that the California Air Resources Board, in consultation with the California Environmental Protection Agency, review and comment on the South Coast Air Quality Management District's three-year budget forecast. The Three-Year Budget Forecast for Fiscal Years 1995-96, 1996-97, and 1997-98 was the first such three-year forecast to be submitted for review. As a result of that review, one of the recommendations was that there should be periodic reports on deviations from the approved budget.

Many of the Fiscal Year 1994-95 budget changes were Board-approved. Other changes, budget transfers that reallocated already budgeted funds, were approved by the Executive Officer. The attached report summarizes both Board-approved and Executive Officer-approved changes to the Fiscal Year 1994-95 approved budget.

THEREFORE IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOUR BOARD

--Receive and file the attached Report of Fiscal Year 1994-95 Budget
