The Investment Oversight Committee met November 1, 1996 and discussed the issues detailed herein. The next meeting is February 7, 1997 at 12:00 noon in Conference Room CC8.

Investment Committee Discussion Items:
Quarterly Report of Investments: The committee reviewed and received and filed the quarterly investment report to Governing Board. ACTION: The Committee requested that staff obtain additional information from the Los Angeles County Treasurer regarding the investment policies and procedures concerning Bond Anticipation Notes.
Award Contract for Investment Consultant Services: The committee approved forwarding to the Governing Board at its November 8, 1996 meeting a recommendation to execute a contract for Investment Consultant Services with Sperry Capital Inc.
Review of Investment Reporting Requirements and Terminology: At its August meeting the Committee requested a briefing on investment terminology. A presentation covering the investment reports provided to the AQMD by Los Angeles County, and the terminology used in those reports was provided along with a glossary of investment terms.
