Acting Executive Officer
Background
AQMD is self-insured for its workers compensation, automobile, and general liability losses. Due to the highly complex and specialized nature of claims administration, the AQMD requires the services of a qualified state certified third-party administrator to handle its claims. The current contract expires May 31, 1998, and release of the RFP and receipt and evaluation of bids for final recommendation at the May 8 Board meeting will ensure continued administration services.
