Status Report on Major Projects for Information Management Scheduled to Start During Last Six Months of FY 1997-98

SYNOPSIS:

Information Management is responsible for data systems management services in support of all AQMD operations. This action is to provide a status report for the current month on major automation contracts and projects to be initiated by Information Management during the remainder of FY 1997-98.

Background

Information Management (IM) provides a wide range of information systems and services in support of all AQMD operations. IM’s primary goal is to provide automated tools and systems to implement Board-approved rules and regulations and to improve internal efficiencies. The annual Budget specifies projects planned during the fiscal year to develop, acquire, enhance, or maintain mission-critical information systems. In July and January of each fiscal year, IM provides a report to the Board identifying and summarizing the major projects/contracts or purchases that are expected during the next six months.

Summary of Report

Attached is a status report for the current month on major automation contracts and projects to be initiated by IM during the last six months of FY 1997-98.
