ARB’s Subvention Program Audit of AQMD for FY 1996-97
SYNOPSIS:
This transmits the fiscal audit of the AQMD’s use of subvention money granted under the ARB’s Subvention Program. This report states that the AQMD has fully qualified for the subvention received in FY 1996-97.

Background
In accordance with generally accepted auditing standards for financial and compliance audits, the ARB has examined the AQMD’s application for subvention funds, the year-end financial report, and the Independent Auditor’s Report for FY 1996-97. In their opinion, the payment of subvention money by the ARB to the AQMD for FY 1996-97 was proper.
