Modify Board Meeting Time for Calendar Year 2000
SYNOPSIS:
This action is to change the Board Meeting time from 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Background
At the December 1999 meeting, the Board established its regular schedule for calendar year 2000 to meet the third Friday of each month. The scheduled start time of 9:30 a.m. was not changed. As reported last month, Board Member LaPisto-Kirtley had requested consideration of a 9:00 a.m. start time for the Board’s monthly meeting. The item has been continued to the February meeting pursuant to the Board’s policies.
Proposal
Consider adoption of the attached resolution setting the 2000 schedule on the same dates as approved in December, but at a start time of 9:00 a.m.
Resolution
RESOLUTION NO. 00-
A Resolution of the South Coast Air Quality Management Governing Board setting the time of regular meetings.
WHEREAS, the regular meetings of the South Coast Air Quality Management Governing Board have been established by Resolution in the past, and
WHEREAS, the Governing Board has found it necessary and appropriate to change the regularly scheduled meeting time to 9:00 a.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, effective February, 2000, the regular meetings of the Governing Board shall be held at 9:00 a.m. each month in the Auditorium at District Headquarters, 21865 E. Copley Dr., Diamond Bar, California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that provisions of Resolution No. 99-___ pertaining to the time of the regular meetings of the District Board is hereby modified.
