The Rule and Control Measure Forecast Report provides the Board with a monthly update of AQMD's rulemaking and control measure implementation schedule. Scheduling changes that occurred since last month's forecast are summarized.
Rules to be Rescheduled/Removed and Added
|
Rule 1113 |
Architectural Coatings |
|
Proposed amendments to Rule 1113 are added to July 2001 calendar. Amendments to the rule will provide a limited time exemption to allow the use of clear brushing lacquer with a maximum allowable VOC content of 680 grams per liter (g/l) until January 1, 2005. At that time, brushing lacquers will be required to meet a VOC content of 275 g/l. The proposed amendments will make Rule 1113 consistent with the CARB statewide control measure (SCM). | |
MASTER CALENDAR
Advance Target for Board Hearings
Below is a list of all rulemaking activity scheduled for the year 2001. The last three columns refer to the type of rule adoption or amendment: AQMP refers to the adoption and implementation of AQMP control measures (Attachment A); Toxics refers to the adoption and implementation of programmatic as well as source-specific toxic-related rules (Attachment B); and Other refers to administrative rules or changes to an existing rule to clarify or improve rule enforceability, SIP corrections, or implementing state or federal regulations (Attachment C).
