Set Public Hearing August 17, 2001 to Consider Amendments and/or Adoption to AQMD Rules and Regulations

SYNOPSES:

Rule 1122 - Solvent Degreasers: Proposed amendments are designed to further reduce VOC and NESHAP halogenated solvent emissions from degreasing operations. For batch-loaded cold cleaners, the amendments will lower the material VOC limit from 50 g/l to 25 g/l. For vapor degreasers, changes are proposed to the solvent and equipment requirements. In addition, rule language is being modified to delete obsolete requirements, add new definitions and clarify exemptions. (Review: Stationary Source Committee on June 22, 2001.)
