ARB’s Subvention Program Audit of AQMD for FY 1999-00

SYNOPSIS: 

This transmits the fiscal audit of AQMD’s use of money granted under ARB’s Subvention Program. This report states that AQMD has fully qualified for the subvention received in FY 1999-00.

Background

In accordance with generally accepted auditing standards for financial and compliance audits the California Air Resources Board (ARB) has examined the AQMD’s application for subvention funds, the AQMD’s year-end financial report, and the AQMD’s Independent Auditor’s Report for fiscal year 1999-00. In their opinion, the payment of subvention money by the ARB to the AQMD for FY 1999-00 was proper.
