The Rule and Control Measure Forecast Report provides the Board with a monthly update of AQMD's rulemaking and control measure implementation schedule. Scheduling changes that occurred since last month's forecast are summarized.

Proposed amendments to Rule 102 are added to July 2001 calendar. The proposed amendments will consolidate several small business definitions from various rules within Rule 102. Wording may be revised for compatibility with other AQMD Rules and Regulations, and unnecessary definitions will be eliminated. | |

Polyester Resin Operations |
|
Proposed amendments to Rule 1162 are being rescheduled from July 2001 to August 2001. Additional time is needed to work with impacted industry and U.S.EPA in finalizing the proposed amendments. | |

Below is a list of all rulemaking activity scheduled for the year 2001. The last three columns refer to the type of rule adoption or amendment: AQMP refers to the adoption and implementation of AQMP control measures (Attachment A); Toxics refers to the adoption and implementation of programmatic as well as source-specific toxic-related rules (Attachment B); and Other refers to administrative rules or changes to an existing rule to clarify or improve rule enforceability, SIP corrections, or implementing state or federal regulations (Attachment C). A more detailed description of the proposed rule adoption or amendment is located after this calendar under the type of rule adoption or amendment (i.e. AQMP, Toxics, and Other) Upcoming Public Workshops are located at the end of the report (Attachment D).
