Executive Officer
Background
The level of program activity in technology advancement has increased significantly as a result of the CARB Mitigation Emissions program and the settlement fund projects in support of the 1190 series rules. To provide effective project oversight, staff recommends deleting three currently budgeted positions in Technology Advancement and adding two Program Supervisor positions. The new Program Supervisor positions would provide program coordination, evaluate project effectiveness to ensure funding specifications are satisfied and District goals are met, conceptualize and determine analytic approaches for research models, and assist and assume the lead in the coordination of new technology demonstration projects. These actions will not negatively impact any current employees.
