CARB’s Subvention Program Audit of AQMD for FY 2000-01

SYNOPSIS: 

This transmits the fiscal audit of AQMD’s use of money granted under CARB’s Subvention Program. This report states that AQMD has fully qualified for the subvention received in FY 2000-01.

Background

In accordance with generally accepted auditing standards for financial and compliance audits, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) has examined AQMD’s application for subvention funds, AQMD’s year-end financial report, and AQMD’s Independent Auditor’s Report for Fiscal Year 2000-01. In their opinion, the payment of subvention money by the CARB to AQMD for FY 2000-01 was proper.
