Status Report on Major Projects for Information Management
Scheduled to Start During Last Six Months of FY 2007-08
SYNOPSIS:
Information Management is responsible for data systems
management services in support of all AQMD operations. This action is to
provide the monthly status report on major automation contracts and projects
to be initiated by Information Management during the last six months of FY
2007-08.

Background
Information Management (IM) provides a wide range of information systems and
services in support of all AQMD operations. IM’s primary goal is to provide
automated tools and systems to implement Board-approved rules and regulations
and to improve internal efficiencies. The annual Budget specifies projects
planned during the fiscal year to develop, acquire, enhance, or maintain
mission-critical information systems. As provided last July for the first six
months of the fiscal year, Information Management is providing this report to
detail major projects/contracts or purchases that are expected during the last
six months.
Summary of Report
The attached report identifies each of the major projects/contracts or purchases
that are expected to come before the Board between January 1 and June 30, 2008.
Information provided for each project includes a brief project description, FY
2007-08 Budget, and the schedule associated with known major milestones (issue
RFP/RFQ, execute contract, etc.).
